A good USSC ruling for gay couples with this headline story from ABC News:
“Gay couple wins case
against florist after Supreme Court rejects appeal:
Over the objections of three conservative justices (Alito,
Gorsuch, and Thomas), the U.S. Supreme Court has turned away (by a 6-3 vote) an
appeal from a Washington State flower shop that violated state
anti-discrimination law by refusing to serve a same-sex couple on religious
grounds – this case was on appeal since 2013.
My 2 Cents: Not much
except to say the gay couple finally won this case, and yes, it is a good
ruling and also it is good for the gay community in cases like this that may
follow in the future.
Kudos to the high court.
Thanks for stopping by.
