In as simple terms as possible what are Trump’s plans for
his second term if he were to win in November 5, 2024 – a lot of experts have
weighted in to explain and outline “Project 2025,” but this one is simple to
follow and easy to understand. True it is long, but as I said in simple and
easy steps to follow reported on here with the below headline story from Professor Thomas Zimmer (Georgetown
University) who breaks it down as ruthlessly dangerous (formatted and edited in places to fit the blog):
“The Right Has a
Terrifying Second Trump Term Plan Called Project 2025”
Over the past few months, detailed plans have emerged on the Right for
what they want to do upon getting back to power. Different factions on the
Right are preparing separate plans, and there is real rivalry between them.
Among all these planning efforts, “Project 2025,” launched
in April 2022 under the leadership of the Heritage Foundation, stands out
because it unites much of the conservative movement and the machine of think
tanks as well as activist and lobbying groups behind the goal of installing a
more effective, more ruthless rightwing regime.
As members of its Advisory Board, “Project 2025” currently lists over one hundred organizations and institutions.
It’s a Who’s Who of rightwing actors: 1. Alliance Defending Freedom: 2. America First Legal Foundation: 3. Center
for Renewing America; 4. Claremont Institute; 5. Hillsdale College; 6. Liberty
University; 7. Young America’s Foundation; 8. Moms for Liberty, and on, and, on
it goes..
In a nutshell: It’s a plan that enables Trump to totally takeover the
entire government. It envisions his vast one-man rule of presidential power.
Moreover, it seeks to
dismantle certain parts of the Federal government, which the “right calls the deep
state” – while simultaneously mobilizing and weaponizing most of the other parts.
“Project 2025” is a
promise to purge from government anyone who is not all in on this Trumpian project
and to replace them with loyalists and ideological conformists in the “Trump cult,”
or so it seems.
In its own words, “Project 2025” consists of four “pillars”:
(First) A policy agenda spelled out
in the 920-page report they published last April titled: “Mandate
for Leadership: The Conservative Promise;” (Second) A personnel
database, intended to build an army of loyalists; (Third) A “training effort” that currently consists of online
courses they call the “Presidential Administration Academy” to get these loyalists and all political appointees
ready to implement the rightwing agenda; and, (Fourth) “A playbook
of actions to be taken in the first 180 days of the new Administration
to bring quick relief to Americans suffering from the Left’s devastating
policies.” (Note: The Fourth “pillar” is, at this point, still distinctly vague
and seems to exist only in the form of an announcement of future action).
What are some
concrete examples of what the Project 2025 participants plan to do?
We’ve heard talk, for
example, of “Schedule F” – the stripping 55,000 civil servants of their jobs
and installing Trump loyalists in their place. Is this a credible threat? Would they really need to replace so many,
or would simply threatening to fire people if they didn’t toe the party line
suffice?
The first big focus of “Project 2025” is to expand presidential power, establish total control over the government, and weaponize some parts of the executive branch while dismantling other federal agencies.

Take their effort to impeach President Biden and appease Trump and then say: “See he’s also impeached.”
They claimed to have star witnesses to prove their case – one of whom is a fugitive from the law nowhere in sight and one or two others totally discredited beyond belief.
When all that failed they are quick and proud to say like Chairmen and Reps. James Comer (R-KY) and Jim Jordan (R-OH) for example: “We are still looking for more evidence to support our hunches and theories” (or something along those line). Yeah, this Gal Luft: An eight-count indictment against Gal Luft was unsealed on Monday (July 10) as the DOJ announced he had been charged with acting as an unregistered foreign agent on behalf of China, violating U.S. sanctions against Iran, trafficking in arms, and making false statements to federal agents among other matters.
This GOP top to bottom and especially with their new Speaker MAGA Mike Jonson (R-LA), who is stuck to Trump with “Alien Tape” and with his every word and wish are possibly the worse House of Congress ever in our entire political history.
