Attack from Arab-related nations: Al-Qaeda planned with 19 attackers in four hijacked major airline planes used as suicide bombs from all Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, and Lebanon.

Attack Locations: New York City (the Twin Towers); Arlington, VA (the Pentagon); and Shanksville, PA (an open field).

Total Number of American Deaths: 2,978 at the four locations.
