very thought-provoking in these perilous times we are now experiencing and living in. Also, believe it when I say our adversaries are taking plenty of notes.

simple, direct, and quite true:

vs Donald Trump: What comes after FBI raid? I know one thing: Be afraid”
The DOJ is now formally investigating Trump for serious
possible crimes including violating the Espionage Act and obstruction of justice in
connection to his unlawful possession of top secret and highly classified
materials.
During a court-ordered search of his Mar-a-Lago resort and
home last week, the FBI retrieved 11 sets of classified documents that,
according to reports included information about nuclear weapons (in highly
classified TOP SECRET/SCI – the highest level of classification documents).
Trump had more than a year to return these documents and did not. One of his
attorneys also misrepresented the facts when
informing the DOJ “…that all the classified documents in Donald Trump's
possession had been returned in June.”
This is the first time in American history that a former president has been under criminal investigation, let alone for serious federal crimes.
That is to be expected, given that Trump represents a unique and singular danger to American democracy and society.
Predictably, Trump has made numerous false or misleading statements about the FBI investigation, claiming that he is innocent, that evidence was “planted” to incriminate him, that his home was “raided and under siege” by the FBI, and that he is being “victimized as part of a conspiracy by the deep state” and other sinister forces who are desperate to stop his return to power.

So, how will this horrible
national nightmare end? Who really knows for sure, but be assured that Donald
J. Trump and those in line with him will not and cannot accept his 2020 defeat
and he and they will keep beating that drum for who knows how long.
Truly, we are troubled
waters and fearful times still lie ahead for us.
All I can say is be
factually informed and watchful. What lies ahead probably isn’t going to be
pretty. And, as I said, our adversaries are taking plenty of notes. That may be
the worst part.
Trump and his loyal cult
base care about one thing despite saying they love the country and want to
“save it” is more about gaining total power on top of more power. Nothing else
matters to him or to his base, and their words and actions (e.g., January 6)
speak to that goal as nothing else matters to them.
