Fear of Trump: 43 GOPers Voted not to Remove him from office.

Those “cowards” saw January 6 as a “no big deal” that shows Trump conformity and wild groupthink.

Lest We Forget: Fact – the storming of the Capitol could have been much worse. 

Fact: The rioters came within feet of Sens. Mitt Romney and Chuck Schumer and searched intently for crazy Nancy Pelosi, the House speaker.

Fact: They *built a gallows and wanted to execute then-Vice President Mike Pence. They chanted “Bring out Pence!” And “Hang Mike Pence!” (*see post of that next).

Fact: Trump’s response to them: “We love you. You’ve very special.”

Fact: One-hundred Senators saw this and much more in chilling videos and rock-solid evidence, then 43 out of 50 Republicans voted to acquit Trump of inciting the insurrection, thus blocking a conviction and the opportunity to ban him from future office.

Why? 

Why do most Republican leaders appear to see the events of that horrible day as no big deal, when much (well over 70%) of the country saw that day as a serious challenge to one of the founding principles of democracy, the peaceful transfer of power? Yes, why: 

Simple FEAR OF TRUMP’S WRATH – and BTW: It’s coming, bet on it.

Remember this video clip from the RNC convention: “The best is yet to come” screech from Don Jr’s new flame: Kimberly Guilfoyle?

Trump is saying that exact same thing now following his second impeachment acquittal.

My 2 cents: Those seven brave Republicans who voted to remove (Cassidy (LA); Collins (ME); Murkowski (AK); Romney (UT); Sasse (NE); Toomey (PA); and Burr (NC). Now the word is Eric Trump’s wife, Lara Trump, will run for Burr’s seat in NC in 2022. So, here we go – “the best” right? Oops. Open the doors for every Trump to government. Wow …

Trump now more so than feels unrestrained – just watch and see.

The road ahead for years will be very ugly. As Abe Lincoln once stated: “If the U.S. ever fails if will not be from outside forces, it will be from within.” Donald J. Trump has proven those words true 100%.

Trump started proving that true on January 6, 2021 and the GOP reinforced that on February 13, 2021 – when they left him off the hook of justice and spit on democracy.
