GOP has crooks and very nasty and shady characters on both sides of that party. On Trump's team (that we already know) and a brand new anti-GOP/anti-Trump group against him called “The Lincoln Project.” 

A bit a history and context is warranted at this point since that group is getting a lot of attention lately.

The story is both revealing and explosive:

WASHINGTON — The founders of “The Lincoln Project,” a headline-grabbing new anti-Trump PAC was formed by GOP operatives who describe the president as “crook and huckster.” But lo and behold, some of them have their own checkered dealings with Russia and the tax man, as documents obtained by the Post reveal.

Since its inception last November — announced with a blistering New York Times op-ed — the brainchild of George Conway, Steve Schmidt, Rick Wilson, and John Weaver has raked in more than $19.4 million dollars, according to FEC filings. 

They have needled Trump repeatedly with provocative TV ads.

But the group — which the National Review on Monday (July 20) dubbed them the Grifter Project, and Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) last week dismissed them calling them: “A cabal of political consultants all in it for the money” — and they don’t exactly practice what they preach

It is a good read – and depending on your view point – I’m sure GOPers across America will easily pick a side to cheer for wildly for (Smile).

Likewise, DEMS and Indies will remain neutral, more or less (another smile).
