Very troubling article from NEWSWEEK
and from THE INDEPENDENT regarding an audio report about Roger Stone,
a longtime adviser to Trump, whom Trump pardoned BTW, allegedly
discussing the assassination of two members of Congress weeks before the
2020 election that has sparked a furious backlash with this headline:
“Roger Stone was recorded
calling for assassination of two senior Democrats, report says”
Stone denies the allegations, claiming the recordings were
AI generated.
In the audio now obtained and possessed by Mediaite, Stone spoke about assassinating two Democrats in Congress: Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) along with his pal and NYPD officer, Sal Greco, who moonlights as a security guard for Stone, when they met early November 2020 at Caffe Europa in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Stone told Greco: “It's
time to go find Swalwell. It's time to do it. Then we'll see how brave the rest
of them are. It's time to do it. It's either Nadler or Swalwell has to die
before the election. They need to get the message. Let's go find Swalwell and
get this over with. I'm just not putting up with this sh*t anymore.”
Mediaite also reported that Stone “…hates the two Democrats, and has been at war with them for years.”
Mediaite made a similar
allegation also reporting that
Stone was caught on tape asking Greco “To
punish U.S. Attorney Aaron Zelinsky,” (who
led the prosecution's case against Stone during the Mueller Russia
investigation) saying: “He needs
to be punished. You have to abduct him and punish him. That has to be done. It
will be easy to abduct him because he is a weakling.”
My 2 Cents: Stone must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and get life in prison without parole.
Stone is a total disgrace. This is a
very serious allegation and it needs a quick result.
