Truckers heading into DC to disrupt government

Very timely story – I call it Phase II of the January 6 Capitol Insurrection reported on here from the Daily Mail with this headline:

“People's Convoy reps meet with GOP senators to push demands”

Some 3,000 trucks have now joined forces to encircle the section of Interstate 495 which goes around the Nation’s Capitol. Truckers also met with GOP wacko Sens. Ted Cruz and Ron Johnson to “discuss the harmful effects of President Biden's vaccine mandates calling it government overreach.”

The truckers’ eight demands are:

The 3,000-vehicle truck cavalcade now spans some 62 miles. It soon clog the 64-mile Beltway which is one of the main arteries into the Capitol itself. 

Organizers say they will impede traffic until their demands are met while saying “every day this will escalate.”

My 2 Cents: These truckers somehow think they are patriots further pandering to Trump and his ilk.

In essence it is basically an extension of Trump’s “Stop the Steal” myth about losing the 2020 election to Joe Biden.

Sadly, it also adds to the January 6 failed coup and insurrection for surely that is what it was and this is.

Actually, this is also a wakeup call for the public to toss these nuts aside and work to help us return to common sense decency for surely these things could turn into very bloody events over time.
