TIME TO REVISIT  THIS ISSUE: 

“Take her out” – a tape recording that Lev Parnas had appears to be Trump ordering Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch ouster from her Ukraine office.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - An audio recording appeared to capture  President Trump in 2018 calling for the firing of the then U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch, a main figure in the series of events that led to his impeachment. 

The recording features a voice that sounds like Trump’s speaking at a small dinner in April 2018 with guests including Lev Parnas (indicted in SDNY in October 2019), former associate of Trump lawyer’s and close pal, Rudy Giuliani. (Re: That recording cites sources familiar with the recording). 

If the recording is authentic, it would bolster the Democrats’ and other arguments that Trump associates spent nearly a year trying to oust the ambassador, Marie Yovanovitch, because they saw her as an obstacle in their efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating Trump’s political rival Joe Biden.

The voice according to ABC News is Trump shouting: “Get rid of her! Get her out tomorrow. I don’t care. Get her out tomorrow. Take her out. Okay? Do it.”

There’s little question that Parnas, associate of Rudy Giuliani, had an at least indirect connection to Trump. 

Speaking to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Parnas suggested a more direct one saying (search YouTube - two part interview there January 22, 2020):  “I was with Rudy more than — I mean, four or five days out of the week. I mean, I was in constant contact with him. So — and I was with Rudy when he would speak to the president, plenty of times.”

Parnas also told Maddow that he’d tell foreign officials that he was representing Giuliani and the president.

My 2 cents: To my knowledge the tape cited above about being authentic or not, has not been authenticated – at least I can’t find any valid source.

However, since the tape belongs to Lev Parnas, I suspect it is in Federal hands (FBI) or state DA where he was indicted. Time will tell on that, but, the mere fact that “take her out” is cited is very serious and worrisome.

That term is mob lingo meaning: “Kill the person, get rid of them.”

It’s the same meaning as “rubbing them out.”

If that is Trump on the tape, then that is a very serious crime. We’ll see more about that I am sure.
