Congress Passes CoVID-19 Relief Bill: Many GOPers Vote Not to Help With Crisis

Who voted No, Present, or Did Not Vote 2020 Outlook

Major update on the Virus relief bill based on plan from Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) (BTW: Who always peddles GOP plan to help the top crust who in turn helps them stay in in office)… to wit based on this update from NBC News:

The direct cash payment plan to help Americans hurt by the coronavirus pandemic as unveiled by Senate Republicans. It would send checks of up to $1,200 per person in a one-time payment — and payments would be based on income.

The GOP version of the plan:

·       Individuals making up to $75,000 annually would be eligible for a $1,200 check from the Federal government.
·       Married couples who file their taxes jointly must make less than $150,000 to qualify for their payment, which would be $2,400.
·       The payment phases out entirely for individuals making more than $99,000 annually (people who make more than that will not receive any money from the federal government).
·       For married couples earning more than $150,000, the payment declines gradually and phases out completely for couples making more than $198,000.
·       The checks reduce to $600 (or $1,200 for married couples) for taxpayers who have little or no income tax liability but have at least $2,500 in qualifying income.

My 2 cents: Trump signs bill into law. Still, it is very obvious who voted against the bill.

They should be pay a heavy price in November at the ballot box – whether they are a GOP House of Senate candidate – they have to go.

GOPers mostly always profess in every floor speech how much they support “people back home, love the country, and wave the flag. and then they pull a stunt like this – shame on them.

Thanks for stopping by.
