The Trump Swamp Cabinet: Real, Visible, in Our Face, and Routinely Full

He's comfortable in this hog heaven profitable
swamp environment

Reflection time:

(CNN) Trump's promise to drain the swamp of Washington, delivered repeatedly and vigorously during his 2016 campaign, turned into a pledge of honor in his inaugural address when he said he would return government back to the people when he said: “For too long, a small group in our nation's Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered but the jobs left, and the factories closed. That all changes starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you.”

My insert: From what we know, have seen, and suspect more is lurking in the shadow of Trump, the con artist, is more so in full bloom now than ever.

Add this to the list below:

1.  The insider trading charges against Trump ally Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) for allegedly urgently calling in stock tips to his son from a White House party about a company Collins had ties to and which he simultaneously oversaw in Congress. Collins has pleaded not guilty.

2.  Melania Trump’s parents getting citizenship (via “chain immigration”) even as Trump cracks down on legal immigration and “chain immigration.”

3.  An IRS agent walked a VA court through the complicated alleged money laundering scheme used by Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, on top of his other financial woes and foreign ties.

4.  Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross (billionaire), who admitted last month to error in failing to divest assets as required under ethics rules, is now facing allegations of bilking friends and investors in a tough Forbes report. Ross has vigorously denied those new allegations.

Also, don’t forget this criminal line-up:

Tom Price; Scott Pruitt; Ryan Zinke; Ben Carson; David Shulkin; and Steve Mnuchin and I’m sure lots others still in line and getting rich off the Federal taxpayers back while professing honesty and integrity of their offices … which is by now as we all know, a Trump con that is full crock of crap.

My 2 cents: What is amazing in all this corruption and blatant ethics violations is disturbing: Trump’s base accepts what he says and does as some sort of gospel, not even counting his over 6,000 documented lies (reported on here).

That same GOP base talks of honesty, loyalty, “American values,” and such all the while they ignore this corrupt administration’s routine operations.

Thanks for stopping by.
