Obama: His #1 Mission for Total Erasure from Public Existence
(Neat
comparison isn't it)
My opening and introduction
to the post and contents below for today (long but needs to be said):
One word most Americans are reluctant to use and hate to
use to label any public official, especially our president, let alone it’s a
pretty strong word to fling at anyone with certainty – that is to call them a
liar. In Trump's case that comes easy since it's his way of life on a daily
basis. It is how he has survived being a con-man his entire adult life. I get
no satisfaction in calling him a liar – who does really. But, he is a horrible,
yet an effective and apparently convincing liar for his followers, and that is
very worrisome.
He cannot be believed nor trusted and that is the
most-critical bedrock element for giving him our public trust. If we cannot believe
those in office and yet we keep them in office, what does that say about us?
For those who stand by him with the kind of record in
full display and that the world knows as well as us see, is becomes more amazingly
stunning and mind-boggling how anyone can stand by him let alone cheer him as
some sort of idol.
How can anyone tolerate
his lies and I would ask them: “Do they accept lies from persons close and around you?”
Boy, I hope they do not for if they do, well, that speaks volumes about the
total decay of our way of life and values we hold as a people and nation. Time
may prove me wrong, I hope it does, but now with this man in office and his
record of lying, who knows how long the damage will last. Right now that seems
a very long time away.
The following is an outstanding article from FactCheck.org – it too long, but very comprehensive and easy to read and follow and decipher re: the facts from Trump’s well, “falsies.” (There are a number of Trump lies, which is
not unusual for him, routine exaggerations, and just plan lying hype).
Trumps first claim example is an easy one to explain
of his latest two big lies – so big that they would put “triple whoppers” to
shame –
BTW: reflect back on Trump’s first 100 days in office
– wow…!!!
Trump gets two things wrong right off the bat.
The easy
one first:
Trump ranted
that we have thousands and thousands of border judges – don’t need more he
tweeted. He also told Sen. Lindsey Graham
(R-SC): “We don’t need more we have
thousands and thousands.” Actually, Mr. Trump, we do not have “thousands and
thousands of border judges – we have approximately 350 immigration judges,” (DOJ numbers).
Sen. Graham
has a bill that has seven Republican co-sponsors and it would authorize an
additional 225 judges “to work on and to prioritize resolving the cases of
children and families in family residential centers.”
Trump’s other claim:
— “When we
release the people they never come back to the judge” — is also false. Trump
said only “like 3 percent” show up for court, but we could find no evidence
that the percentage is that low. Neither the White House nor the DOJ responded
to our request for the supporting data.
The DOJ FY-2016
Statistics Yearbook reports that 25 percent of immigration cases were decided
“in absentia” — meaning “when an alien fails to appear.” (See their figure 23). The report does not differentiate between
those captured at the border for illegal crossing and those arrested in the
interior of the country for other offenses.
FactCheck asked the DOJ for
clarification and the most recent data. They did not get a response, but said
they would update this article if they do.

My 2 Cents: Not much to add to this good rundown
on this awful person now in office playing the role as our president and doing
a lousy job of that acting – but boy, does he love the acting part – he is
after all a showman and yes, con-man.
That is how history will judge Trump – bet on
it.
So, stay tuned for updates on this subject as well as others
waiting for the next flub.
Thanks for stopping by.
