Subject: Social Security and Medicare Are
Back on the GOP Meat Axe Table
Update on the subject with this simple question: WTF is it with Republicans -
they are seriously ill and therefore fit nicely with T-rump - in a word folks, “We
iz about to be screwed once again” – cite this story from the Chicago Tribune here
Republicans are hinting that, after their tax overhaul, the party intends to look at cutting spending on welfare, entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare, and other parts of the social safety net.
House Speaker Paul “Marathon” Ryan (R-WI) said recently that he wants Republicans to focus in 2018 on reducing spending on government programs.
Last month, “The Donald” Trump
said welfare reform will “take place right after taxes, very soon, very shortly
after taxes” (according to The Washington Examiner).
And this from another very horrible
Republican: While whipping votes for a GOP tax bill on Thursday, Senate Finance Committee
Chairman Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), attacked public assistance as “liberal
programs” for the poor saying: “Congress needs to stop wasting Americans'
money adding. We're spending ourselves into bankruptcy. Now, let's just be
honest about it: We're in trouble. This country is in deep debt. You don't help
the poor by not solving the problems of debt, and you don't help the poor by
continually pushing more and more liberal programs through.”
No, Booby Hatch – stop giving $1 trillion to the top then screwing the needy?
No, Booby Hatch – stop giving $1 trillion to the top then screwing the needy?
Let me remind everyone - working Americans have already paid into SS
and Medicare and from time-to-time people need public assistance so any attack
on those programs would surely cause a real war ... believe ... it would
be just like armed robbery - take from those who have earned benefits for the
appeasement of the top.
Stay tuned and I hope you feel as compelled to take
action as I do to stop this madness.
Thanks for stopping by.
