of foreign money pouring in: Family runs it, but Trump can
withdraw money whenever
needed
Trump,
according to his financial disclosure report, earned some $40 million last year
from his company’s hotel in Washington, DC USA Today reports and seen here
from The Hill.

He earned $40.7
million in the 2017 calendar year alone.

He earned $19.6
million from January 2016 to mid-April 2017 – that according to his previous
financial report.
·
More than
$350,000 in campaign funds contributed to the hotel’s revenue, 60% of that come
from events hosted by the RNC according to the analysis.
This
DC Trump International Hotel opened in October 2016, less than one mile from
the White House. Since then, it has become a legal headache for Trump as a number of critics
have said earnings from the hotel violate the emoluments cause in the
Constitution.

The
clause bars the president from accepting gifts or payment from foreign
governments without congressional approval as explained here from
Cornell Law.
My 2 cents: Only one question – why is this all GOP-run Congress not
fulfilling their duties and pull the plug on this corrupt, arrogant, flim-flim
man running his national con.
Oh, I see, they are GOPers like him and scared to death of his power rather
than stopping is runaway power grabs for the sake of the country as they always
make speeches about.
