Not just my view but the view of many like these references show:
That line: “Follow the
Money” is from the Watergate-era movie (1976) based on the book “All the
President’s Men” (that starred Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman as Bob Woodward
and Carl Bernstein).
That famous and renowned line was
added to the movie for effect but was not really spoken by “Deep Throat” (then Associate FBI Director, Mark Felt – whose ID was kept secret for decades) to Bob Woodward in
their many of their basement meetings.
But, boy does it ring true nevertheless
and still has an effect even today.
