Trump Wants the Presidency: GOP Wants 2nd Civil War and New Cosmos

The Chosen Head of that Professed Movement is Apparently Self-Appointed

Many reports and hype are being generated recently that the GOP will try to impeach Hillary Clinton if in fact she is elected. That is scary for sure, but then consider this: How can they impeach a president who has been elected, yet not even sworn into office or has even served a single day in the office? How insane that sounds. Yet, leave it to the GOP to be the party of the insane. This latest from them proves that point.

Now this post for today:

Some top Republicans are already floating the idea of impeaching Hillary Clinton and yet she hasn’t even been elected president. (NOTE: A President can only be impeached while in office for violating the Constitution NOT on speculation if they are elected – the GOP is insane with this idea). Examples of that recent insanity:

1.  House Homeland Security Committee Chairman, Rep. Michael McCaul of Texas, brought up that scenario in an interview recently saying: “Assuming she wins, and the investigation goes forward and it looks like an indictment is pending, at that point in time, under the Constitution, the House of Representatives would engage in an impeachment trial. It would go to the Senate, and impeachment proceedings and removal would take place.”

2.  Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson in a tight reelection race told a local paper recently that Clinton’s actions involving her private email servers as secretary of state are impeachable offenses, adding: “She purposefully circumvented it (the law), this was willful concealment and destruction. I would say yes, high crime or misdemeanor, I believe she is in violation of both laws.”

3.  Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ), House Judiciary subcommittee chairman said in the Washington Post that he’s personally convinced she should be impeached because of her influence deriving from the Clinton Foundation, adding: “It is my honest opinion that the Clinton Foundation represents potentially one of the greatest examples of political corruption in American history. Now that perspective may be disproven, time will tell. But given that conviction on my part, I think all options are definitely on the table.”

4.  Trump even said so himself, in around way: “Here we go again with Clinton, you remember the impeachment, and the problems? She’s likely to be under investigation for many, many years, also likely to conclude in a criminal trial. This is not what we need in this country, folks. (From his speech in Jacksonville, FL).

Other top Republicans are saying it’s too early to be raising the idea. This GOP is so full hatred for the Clintons that they will dream up anything to try and nail them on … sick and disgusting to say the least.

Now with all those statements above, consider this fine article on this same critical subject and prospective developments in our country right now. This comes from the Washington Post with the following extract from the author with this dramatic headlines:

“Republicans are now vowing Total War. And the consequences could be immense.”

“The election is just five days away, and something truly frightening is happening, something with far-reaching implications for the immediate future of American politics.

“Republicans, led by Donald Trump but by no means limited to him, are engaging in kind of termite-level assault on American democracy, one that looks on the surface as though it’s just aimed at Hillary Clinton, but in fact is undermining our entire system.

“I know, my conservative friends will say that this kind of talk is just fear-mongering and exaggeration. But there is something deeply troubling happening right now, and it goes beyond the ordinary trading of blows in a campaign season. Consider these recent developments:

— There appears to be a war going on inside the FBI, and from what we can tell, a group of rogue agents, mostly in New York, may be in such a fervor to destroy Hillary Clinton that they may be aggressively leaking damaging innuendo to the press against her in the waning days of the campaign. They succeeded in their apparent goal of making FBI director James Comey a tool of their campaign — and the basis for their investigation is an anti-Clinton book written under the auspices of an organization of which the CEO of the Trump campaign is co-founder and chairman. Pro-Trump FBI agents now seem to be coordinating with Trump surrogates to do maximal possible damage to Clinton.

I totally agree with the article's assessment stated this way:  "It is important to understand that this is not normal. This is not just bare-knuckle politics. Something extraordinary is happening."

I therefore would ask any level-headed person to assess all this and be able to say with a straight face and truly believe this which the GOP usually by their own constant words and admission — usually in their stump speeches or on the House and Senate floors say: “We stand for our democracy and freedoms as proud public servants of the American people…”

Try believing that in any way, shape, or fashion without throwing up.

Thanks for stopping by and as I’ve said a long time, stay tuned, it is just getting started – not the end of this election cycle, but that which Republicans pledge to inflict on the country that they say will follow, that is their version of history: End it all now and create from scratch a new big bang in their image.
