GOP BFF: Our Guy Vlad — Влади́мир Влади́мирович Пу́тин

Place in the Spotlight

Man With Spotlight and Spare Batteries

Qualities about Vlad that perhaps the GOP likes???

1.  Land developer.
2.  Job creator.
3.  Resource manager.
4.  Great equestrian.
5.  Black Sea port authority expert.
6.  Reformed KGB agent (wink/wink).

In all seriousness, let's discuss this whole Ukraine mess as honestly as possible, based on the facts, but hang on tight. It’s a bit bumpy.

1.  GOP House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers (R-MI) told Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace that the Obama administration’s diplomatic strategy toward Russia about the Ukraine on-going chess game had emboldened President Vladimir Putin, whose desire for expanded geopolitical influence outstripped the United States’ diplomatic mission of containment. Then Rogers ended with this keeper: “Putin is playing chess and I think we’re playing marbles.”

2.  Then sprinkle in Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), always the anti-Obama everything adding that “Putin is ready to fully invade and take over the Ukraine and who knows where else because Mr. Obama caused Benghazi” or words to that effect. Then Graham's icing on the cake was stated on CNN with this gem: ... that America has “a weak and indecisive president,” a situation that “invites aggression.”

Salon offers more here (check it out).

Some more from, in part. The essence in that link is my point:

Bashing President Obama about everything is the GOP's fav past time. Now over Ukraine, it has reached new heights, or should I say, a new low?

The President can't do, say, try, or imply anything without the opposite spewing from the GOP, mostly their hawkish rightwingers and a few TEA sippers. He can't do anything that would ever please them or make them grant him one single Kudo - except, um, one: Repeal Obama-care. Even Putin would agree on that point, since he probably counts votes.
