Teaching Religion in America at Taxpayers' Expense

GOP advocates for guns in church, so why not Bibles in schools?

The story comes from here - highlights:

"If you live in a state with a voucher or corporate tax credit program funding "school choice," your state's tax dollars are funding the teaching of religious supremacism."

What is amazing is just how hard the GOP-Rightwing works to scare the public and instill fear about the state of our public schools, which they prefer to call "government-run." They say our current system is bad for the students, bad for the country, and awful for our future thus vouchers, charters and tax money for private schools is the answer. All the while they push their narrow religious agenda; one not for the country as a whole, but for their narrow base as described in this story.

The GOP deserves a lot of credit. They have mastered the PR game and quite effectively all the while bashing certain segments of the media - the side that does not favor them and their PR approach.
